Prosec-Ho-Ho-Ho! Can you believe the holidays are already here? Get into the holiday spirit with my fun and easy cocktail recipe using two of my favorite ingredient pairings of the season – oranges and cranberries. Clink, clink, cheers!
2 1/2 cups cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 orange for garnish
1 ounce orange liqueur
1 (750 ml) bottle Prosecco
- In a saucepan, cook 2 cups of cranberries with the sugar until they render some juice, about 5 minutes. Let cool to room temperature.
- When ready to serve, pour a spoonful of the cranberry mixture in a glass and mix with orange liqueur. Top with Prosecco. I used Valdo Prosecco.
- Add remaining cranberries and the orange slices for garnish.
